God said, "Be Holy as I am Holy". Jesus Christ came into this world for you and me. He gave his life as a perfect sacrifice through which we might be saved and we can be made holy. Nothing can make us holy except that blood of Jesus Christ which he shed 2000 years ago on the cross of calvary.
Jesus died for our sins so that through him our sins can be forgiven and we can be righteous. By doing good works only we cannot be holy because until and unless are sins are not forgiven we are sinners and without Jesus God sees us as a sinner but when we accept Jesus in our life God sees us a holy person because our sins has been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Once you have accepted Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour you may think that i am holy for my whole life. No. it’s not like that yes ofcourse Jesus has forgiven my past sins and made me holy but we have to be holy daily in our lives by keeping ourselves away from the work of evil. Bible tells us how to live a holy life and also you have to cling to Jesus to be holy.

present world
Today many of us are battling this cold, hard reality in the colleges and corporate society which we are attending. People are taking drugs, alcohol, committing adultery, cheating and doing all sorts of sinful activities for their pleasure and comfort. But that doesn't mean we have to cross over into the carnal and fleshly worlds of those who are not walking right with the Lord. We can’t be doing drugs, abusing, alcohol, and sleeping with whoever we want to outside the bounds of holy marriage. We can't be cheating and scamming others in an effort to try and gain more wealth and riches.
The Bible says,
"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever." (1 John 2:15-17)
Scripture tells us that how we can overcome this world it’s only by walking in his way and God’s ways are righteous. God obviously wants us to be "in" this world because we are the light of this world and God has called us to do his will in this world only. His will is to open the eyes of the people and turning them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins.
People are running after the money and for them money is their life. They don’t consider any other thing much important rather than money. For them money is above everything. Bible tells us that it is not the money itself that is the root of all kinds of evil; it is the love of that money that is the root of all kinds of evil. If not properly handled, money and the love of that money can be like a cancer where it will start to slowly eat away our soul and our personal connection with the lord. And word of God tells us that what good will it do a man to gain all the wealth of this world as his possessions, but then lose his own soul in the pursuit and acquirement of all of that wealth.
